UHS Arts Enjoy the Scene!

Throughout the fall, I hope you were able to learn more about the arts at UHS, either though a campus visit, open house or at one of the many

UHS Alumni Perspective – John Casnocha, Class of '02

I currently work at UHS as a teaching fellow and the job has allowed me to work in a variety of areas within the school—teaching, community service learning, advising, admissions, and coaching. Four of the six varsity teams won league titles and five of the six varsity teams qualified for the North Coast Section Championships. At the JV level, two of the three teams with end of season events emerged victorious in those competitions.  Read more...

Families’ Multicultural Committee: Always Reaching Out

We would like to take a moment to thank you for your interest in becoming part of the  San Francisco University High School (UHS) community, and to acknowledge all of the time, effort, and careful thought you took to make this incredibly important decision. As parents or guardians of current students at UHS, we remember very well what it was like going through this process.  Congratulations. You are almost at the finish line. As co-chairs of the Families’ Multicultural Committee (FMC), we have had the opportunity to meet many of you at the various admission open houses and events held at the school over the past few months.  Read more...

University High School welcomes students of demonstrated motivation and ability to engage in an education that fosters responsibility and the spirited pursuit of knowledge. We are a school where adults believe in the promise of every student, and together we work to build and sustain a community of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and talents. UHS challenges each individual to live a life of integrity, inquiry, and purpose larger than the self.
