College Counseling

Welcome from the office of College Counseling.

Our goal is to provide a comprehensive college counseling program with attention to the individual needs of students and families.  We assist students with all facets of the the college counseling cycle: self-exploration, college selection, and visiting, standardized testing, essay writing, applying for financial aid, and choosing a college to attend.  Three years ago, we moved into splendid new quarters on the third floor of the new South Campus at 3220 Sacramento St.  We have room for college meetings, a library of college catalogs and other materials, and office space. Last year, 100 colleges visited us from early September to mid-November.  An overview of the results of the last few years is available on the School Profile, and the details of the College Counseling process are provided in the College Counseling Handbook.
